The Heavens Declare God's Glory

Lately I have been reminded how creation is a testimony to our Creator's greatness. As I go for my walk each day, I take my camera with me, observing nature in a way that I have not for a long time. (Hence  the pics.) Every little petal, every leaf, every living creature... it is altogether miraculous. I find my heart in awe, that the God who created the universe, is interested in me. Who am I that I should find His favour? That He would choose to love me, speaks to His greatness. He is  a wonderful God!

SONG OF LOVE

~ Rebecca St. James ~

Jesus, King of my heart
Father, my peace and my light
Spirit, the joy of my soul You are

Jesus, to you none compare
Father, I rest in Your care
Spirit, the hope of my heart You are

CHORUS:
The heavens declare You are God
And the mountains rejoice
The oceans cry Alleluia
As we worship You Lord
For this is our Song of Love

Jesus, You save my soul
I'll thank You forevermore
Jesus, the love of my life You are

When Peace Like A River...

Sometimes life is hard. We give all we are, all we have. We do the right thing, to the best of our ability and still, it seems, everything goes wrong. Our peace disappears, as we focus on the waves around us. Like Peter walking on the water, we take our eyes off of Jesus and fear consumes us, rendering us helpless.

Today I invite you to lift your eyes again, to the One who walks on the waves toward you. If you keep your eyes on Him, the waves will lose their power. In His gaze you will discover that it is well, with your soul

Welcome to
His Voice in the Wilderness!

My prayer is that you will be encouraged by my musings, as I share my heart. If there is one thing that is lacking in our world, it is Hope. His Voice--the gentle voice of God--is a voice of hope, in the wilderness of life with its pain and disappointment. I want to be His voice in your world, bringing calm to your chaos, peace to your restless heart, and hope to your broken life experience.

Here at the Crossroads...

I stood at the crossroad a long while. One path, mysterious and inviting adventure, led deeper into the woods, into the unknown. The other into a clearing.

One, uncertain and long. The other, short and predictable, with all its twists and turns. Offering a journey that, while harder, had less regrets.

The life of greatest regret, is the life that has lived too safely, having risked little, invested little and missed the opportunity to impact the world.

The life of purpose, is one that abandons self-preservation; daring to embrace the hard road, offering love freely, and living with transparent authenticity.

I stood at the crossroad a long while. And then I chose the better path.
